Lotería Remedios reinvents the classic 54-card Lotería game, also referred to as Mexican Bingo, for divination purposes, introspection, and therapeutic healing. Created by Xelena González, a member of the Tap Pillar Coahuiltecan Nation, it showcases elegantly illustrated cards and poetic descriptions to provide understanding and direction. Each card's symbol, such as La Sirena (The Mermaid), La Bandera (The Flag), and La Luna (The Moon), promotes self-examination, individual development, and embracing one's distinct identity.
